The Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation calls on the Kurdish diaspora to unite in peaceful, lawful demonstrations supporting Western Kurdistan, rejecting partisan dominance and confirming ongoing protests in Cologne and an upcoming march in Bonn.
Call to the Kurdish Diaspora Public
At a time when the people of Kurdistan in Western Kurdistan are facing threats of extermination and genocide, we, the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation (KDC), together with patriotic Kurds in the diaspora, remain committed to peaceful and calm demonstrations conducted within the framework of existing laws, in solidarity with our people in Western Kurdistan.
We firmly believe that unity and a unified voice of the Kurdish people are the key to strength and success. From this standpoint, we organized a unified national march today in the German city of Cologne–Neumark.
Our intention was, and remains, for all Kurdish forces to participate collectively in this demonstration, free from individual dominance and partisan agendas. Unfortunately, it has become evident that certain parties seek to impose partisan and ideological dominance over the course of the demonstrations. This approach is unacceptable to us. Our guiding principle is clear and unwavering: our unity is our strength.
We hereby inform the Kurdish public that we categorically reject all rumors claiming that the KDC-organized demonstration at the designated location has been canceled. We affirm that the non-partisan Kurdish demonstration at Cologne–Neumark will continue as planned.
Furthermore, we announce that in the coming week, a broad national Kurdish march will take place in the city of , with the participation of dozens of Kurdish artists, as part of our continued peaceful mobilization in support of our people.
