New Executive Board Elected for the Kurdistani Diaspora Federation-Netherlands

Under the auspices of the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation (KDC), the General Conference of the Kurdistani Diaspora Federation-Netherlands was held in Amsterdam with extensive participation from the Kurdish community. The conference concluded with the successful election of a new executive board.

The event, held on Saturday, May 30th, was attended and supervised by a high-level delegation from the KDC, including:

  • Ismail Kamil, President of the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation.
  • Qehreman Osman, Head of the Shifa Barzani Office and General Supervisor of the Kurdistani Diaspora.
  • Shukri Bewari, Vice President of the Confederation.
  • Shermin Bozarslan, Head of the Organization Office.

The first phase of the conference featured an open and constructive dialogue between representatives of the Kurdish diaspora in the Netherlands and the KDC leadership.

The discussions focused on vital daily issues facing the Kurdish community, strategies for organizational growth, and enhancing cooperation within the diaspora.

During the second session, the KDC leadership expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the outgoing executive board for their hard work, loyalty, and valuable contributions during their tenure.

Following this recognition, the previous board was officially dissolved to begin the democratic electoral process.

Fifteen candidates stood for election to the new executive board. The process was conducted in a transparent, democratic, and respectful atmosphere. After the votes were tallied, the seven candidates with the highest votes were confirmed as the new executive leadership.

Significantly, the new board includes members representing all four parts of Kurdistan, symbolizing the diversity and national unity of the Kurdish people.

The newly elected members of the Executive Board are:

  2. Rihan Said
  3. Salar Haji
  4. Dilan Salar
  5. Ronak Fedhullahzade
  6. Sebah Kerkuki
  7. Lava Kamiran

The conference concluded in a positive and harmonious spirit. Attendees expressed their full confidence in the new board, voicing their commitment to working together to empower the Kurdish community in the Netherlands.

This successful conference marks a significant milestone for the federation and the Kurdistani diaspora. Participants closed the event by wishing the new executive board great success in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities in the coming term.
