On the occasion of August 16, the anniversary of your birth, on behalf of the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation (KDC), we extend our warmest congratulations to Your Excellency and to all the people of Kurdistan.
The history of our nation takes immense pride in the fact that on August 16, 1946, in the city of Mahabad in Eastern Kurdistan, beneath the sacred shade of the first flag of the Republic of Kurdistan, a leader came into this world who would dedicate his entire life to defending the honour of that flag.
Your Excellency, having embraced the struggle in the Republic of Kurdistan under the aegis of our national symbol, has become the essence of resilience and the true guardian of the dream of independence.
Your historic pledge—always demonstrating your readiness to sacrifice your life to keep that flag flying high—serves as the greatest source of inspiration and the profoundest lesson in loyalty to our land and identity for those of us in the Kurdistani diaspora.
On this glorious anniversary, we pray to God Almighty to grant Your Excellency good health and a health and long life.
We are confident that under your wisdom and leadership, Kurdistan will stride toward a brighter future, and our sacred flag—the symbol of our sovereignty—will forever wave proudly in the heights.
We wish continued prosperity and lasting peace for the people of Kurdistan, and may our homeland always remain flourishing and proud.
