A Delegation from the Kurdistan Diaspora Federation Caucasus Visits the Kurdistan Region

A high-level delegation from the Kurdistan Diaspora Federation Caucasus visited the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Department of Media and Information and the Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism.

Today, Tuesday, 13 October 2026, Ramadan Seyidov, head of the Kurdistan Diaspora Federation Caucasus, accompanied by Doron Bek and Jakshan Bek, representatives of Kyrgyzstan’s state television, made separate visits to Dr Jotiar Adil, Head of the Department of Media and Information, and Sasan Awni, Minister of Municipalities and Tourism. The delegation was warmly received by both officials.

During the meetings, discussions focused on the national identities of the peoples, raising awareness, and strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and Kyrgyzstan. The importance of expanding cooperation in media and communications, tourism, archaeology, and culture was also highlighted, alongside encouraging investment and enhancing coordination between the two sides.

The meetings also provided an opportunity to explain the Kurdistan Region’s standing and potential in tourism, archaeology, and culture to the delegation.

The delegation expressed its pleasure at the visits and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening joint cooperation in order to serve the mutual interests of both sides.
