KDC’s Statement to the Kurdistani Communities in Diaspora

To our resilient Kurdistani communities residing across the diaspora:

At a time when our nation endured a history marked by suffering and displacement, nations across Europe, the United States of America, Canada, Australia, and around the globe extended their humanitarian embrace.
They provided a safe haven, allowing us to rebuild a life of dignity under the protection of law and democracy.

On behalf of the entire diaspora, we at the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation express our deepest gratitude and boundless appreciation to the peoples and governments of these host nations.

The people of Kurdistan remain steadfast in their loyalty and appreciation for those who opened their doors during our darkest days.

Today, amid the challenges, tensions, and unrest that have surfaced in parts of Europe, we call upon all our fellow compatriots in the diaspora to act with the utmost vigilance and responsibility.

Above all, we urge everyone to strictly adhere to the constitutions, laws, and regulations of their host countries, and to refrain entirely from engaging in any acts of unrest or public disturbance.

The standing of the Kurdistani community has always been defined by a commitment to peace, stability, and civic responsibility.

The best way to demonstrate our gratitude to our host nations is to actively uphold public safety and the rule of law—not to contribute to instability.
