Kurdish School in Luxembourg Opens for 2026-2027 Academic Year

To mark the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year, the Kurdish School in Luxembourg will open its doors to Kurdish children. The school has called on all parents to attend the opening day and join in welcoming the students.

The official opening day will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The goal is for Kurdish families to actively participate in the first day of the school year, sharing the joy of this special occasion with both the school staff and the students.

The Kurdish School in Luxembourg emphasized that the presence and active participation of families will provide tremendous strength and support, ensuring the continuation of their mission to serve the Kurdish language and Kurdish children in Luxembourg.

Furthermore, the school highlighted the vital importance of strengthening Kurdish children’s connection to their language, culture, and national identity, viewing the involvement of families as a crucial pillar in supporting this objective.

It is worth noting that the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation, as part of its ongoing efforts to preserve and develop the mother tongue in the diaspora, operates in close coordination with the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). Together, they manage the Kurdish language education process through official physical centers as well as online classes worldwide.
