In a dedicated effort to strengthen bonds of friendship and build new diplomatic bridges, a high-level delegation from the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation (KDC) was warmly received today by the Presidential Committee of the Assembly of People of Kyrgyzstan. The meeting focused on key objectives and the development of future joint initiatives.
During the session, held on July 20, 2026, Meder Rakhman, Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, hosted Ismail Kamil, President of the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation (KDC), and Ramazan Seyidov, President of the International Kurdish Associations Federation in Kyrgyzstan.
The primary agenda was centered on identifying common goals and enhancing dialogue between the Kurdistani diaspora and the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan. Both sides reaffirmed, with a spirit of mutual respect, the importance of fostering collaboration that serves peaceful coexistence and the shared interests of both communities.
The Kurdish presence in Central Asia, and particularly in Kyrgyzstan, is rooted in a long and rich history. Kurds have consistently played a positive role as an integral, loyal, and peace-loving component of these societies. Such meetings represent a strategic milestone in organizing and mobilizing the capabilities of the Kurdistani diaspora.
