KDC Participates in the Leuven World Festival

At the official invitation of the Municipality of Leuven, Belgium, the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation (KDC) actively participated in the World Cultural Festival to promote Kurdish national identity and culture. The Confederation’s presence successfully drew the attention of guests and representatives of diverse nations to Kurdish heritage and authenticity.

On Saturday, a delegation from the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation-Belgium, led by Ms. Nask Nasiri, and accompanied by Ms. Seyran Zawity, Head of the Women’s Union Committee, participated in the international festival in Leuven.

During the event, which lasted from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the Kurdish flag was proudly displayed. The Kurdish delegation presented a vivid portrait of national authenticity through the exhibition of traditional Kurdish clothing, handicrafts, and ancestral jewelry, showcasing a dignified presence at the festival.

This international event provided an ideal environment for cross-cultural exchange and the strengthening of international relations.

The presence of the KDC was warmly welcomed by attendees and representatives from other countries, marking a significant step in further familiarizing the international community with the history and heritage of the Kurdish people.

The Kurdish diaspora abroad, particularly in European countries, works consistently to preserve national identity and convey the voice and image of Kurds to the international community.

Participating in such global cultural festivals is a golden opportunity to build bridges with diverse societies and showcase the civilized and rich aspects of Kurdish culture in the diaspora.
