Free Kurdish Language Classes for Kids in the USA

The Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation, in coordination with the Ministry of Education of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and sponsored by the Barzani Charity Foundation, is launching a mother tongue language and writing course for Kurdish children residing in the United States.

In this course, children will be taught the Kurdish language in both the Sorani and Kurmanji dialects, utilizing both the Aramaic and Latin scripts. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive an official certificate from the KRG Ministry of Education.

Meanwhile, the Kurdistan Regional Government Representation in the United States has expressed its delight regarding this opportunity.

Registration for the 2026–2027 academic year is now open. This course is provided by the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation, in coordination with the KRG Ministry of Education, and is sponsored by the Barzani Charity Foundation.
