Confederation Delegation Meets with Senator Tina Smith’s Staff

A delegation from the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation, including Mr. Kurd, Head of the Relations Office, and Jihan Brifki, member of the Kurdistan diaspora center in Minnesota ,met with Samantha Marcy, Senior Advisor for National Security Policy.

 

The meeting focused on the role of the Kurdistani diaspora and the state of relations between the United States and Kurdistan. They also discussed recent developments in the Middle East, the broader trajectory of U.S. policy in the region, and the importance of continued American support for Kurdistan.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the meeting and agreed on the need for closer cooperation to strengthen U.S.-Kurdistan relations. They also explored various projects and proposals to enhance collaboration in this regard.
