The Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation Congratulates the Yazidi People on the Occasion of Jama Festival

To the respected Yazidi Mir, members of the Spiritual Council, and our dear Yazidi sisters and brothers in Kurdistan and throughout the world,

The Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation extends its warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to you, to all Yazidi religious figures, and to all our Yazidi sisters and brothers in the homeland and across the diaspora on the occasion of the arrival of the sacred Jama Festival. On this special occasion, we wish everyone a festival filled with peace, happiness, and good health.

The ancient and authentic Yazidi Kurdish community constitutes an essential and deeply rooted part of the history, culture, and national identity of our people. The resilience, perseverance, and devotion that our Yazidi sisters and brothers have demonstrated throughout history in preserving their traditions, faith, and authenticity, despite a long and painful history marked by sacrifice, are a source of immense pride and endless appreciation for the entire people of Kurdistan.

As the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation joins you in celebrating this sacred festival, we reaffirm our longstanding commitment to strengthening the spirit of peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and unity among all communities. We also reiterate our unconditional support for the achievement of the legitimate rights of the Yazidi people, the reconstruction and revitalisation of Sinjar and the affected areas, and the dignified return of all displaced people to the sacred lands of their ancestors.

We hope that these seven days of celebration and the sacred rituals of Lalish will help heal past wounds, strengthen the ties between the Kurdistani diaspora and the homeland, and herald a new era of peace and tranquillity for humanity.

May your Jama Festival be blessed, and may you always live in happiness, dignity, and prosperity.
