Commemoration of Jina Amini Held in Stockholm

Several members of the Executive Committee of the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation took part in a commemorative event marking the anniversary of the killing of Jina Amini, held in Sweden.

Members of the Executive Committee of the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation, Sharmin Bozarslan and Kovan Amedi, participated in the event, which was organized in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, to commemorate the anniversary of Jina Amini’s killing.

On 19 September 2026, Kurdish political parties from Eastern Kurdistan gathered in Stockholm to mark the anniversary of Jina Amini’s death and held a commemorative ceremony in the Odenplan area of the city.

A number of Kurds, as well as political and social activists, attended the event and paid tribute to the memory of Jina Amini.
