Graduation Ceremony for Kurdish Language Students in Germany

With the aim of honouring the beautiful Kurdish language and upholding our national culture and arts, a special and dignified ceremony is being organised for students who have studied Kurdish as their mother tongue.
This event serves as a golden opportunity for the Kurdish diaspora to gather and celebrate the shared journey they have undertaken to preserve their identity.

The cultural carnival will take place on Thursday, July 16, 2026. The ceremony will commence at 4:30 PM. The venue for the celebration is the Compass School in the city of Krefeld, Germany, located at: Felbelstraße 24–28, 47799 Krefeld.

The organisers of the ceremony have warmly opened their doors to everyone, emphasizing that the presence of every individual is a source of great joy.

They cordially invite all members of the Kurdistani diaspora Confederation and friends of the Kurdish people to join together in showcasing the beauty of Kurdish language and culture.

Preserving the mother tongue in diaspora countries is one of the most significant and sacred duties for any nation wishing to maintain its authentic identity amidst the waves of global cultures.
The Kurdish language is not merely a tool for communication and mutual understanding; it is the bearer of our history, emotions, songs, tales, and the memories of our ancestors.

The establishment of Kurdish language courses and the hosting of graduation ceremonies in the heart of Europe send a clear and powerful message: that the new generation of Kurds, despite being far from their homeland and living in a different society, remains firmly rooted in their heritage and nation.
Such events serve as a solid spiritual bridge between the past and the future, familiarizing the new generation with the grandeur of Kurdish attire, music, and traditions. Witnessing these elements fosters a sense of belonging and pride, reinforcing the belief that a nation that preserves its language will never perish.
