The 58th Tatvan Culture and Arts Festival is continuing with great enthusiasm. Every day, the festival hosts numerous seminars, concerts, book exhibitions, and photography exhibitions. Many authors representing different publishing houses are also signing their books for readers at the festival stands.
The festival, held under the slogan “There is culture in Tatvan, there is art, there is us,” began on 31 July and is continuing with great enthusiasm. It is scheduled to conclude on 9 August.
Many authors have signed their books
The Culture, Arts and Book Festival, organised under the supervision of the Tatvan Municipality, in cooperation with Tatvan Fair (Fuar) and Sanatçay, has so far welcomed many authors who have signed their books at the stands of publishing houses including Nûbehar, Sitav, Lis, Belkî, Do, Zarg, Arîn, Mûrî, Ar, Dara, Aram, Vesta, Lûvî, and J&J.
During the final two days of the festival, book-signing events and seminars featuring authors will continue.
Some of the authors who have participated in the festival, attended seminars, and signed their books—and who will continue to take part during these final two days—include:
Salih Kevirbır, Mirza Muhammed Şîrweyî, Bedirhan Epozdemir, Miraz Roni, Diba Keskin, Salihîye Ayata, Delawer Zeraq, Kevok Mizgin, Mulkiye Tekin, Leyla Mehrinaz Engin, Servet Özkan, Herdem Merwanî, Veysi Ülgen, Reşadê Şamo, Azad Zal, Mehmet Gür, Muhsin Özdemir, Mehmet Evşar, Feysel Yacan, Ali Eruç, Muhammed Emin Sarı, Mehmet Can Demir, Neslihan Erzum, Mehmet Şahin, Nizameddin Öztürk, Abdurrahman Çağan, Roni War, Muhtullah Dağ, and Orhan Sakçı.
Some of these authors will remain at the festival until its conclusion and will continue signing their books.
Today, 8 August 2026, book-signing events are continuing. Sedullah Taşan and Nevzad Engin are meeting readers today, while Salih Kevirbır will also meet readers today and tomorrow (Saturday and Sunday) at the Nûbehar stand to sign his books.
It is worth noting that many valuable and productive conversations and discussions are taking place between the authors and readers.
The festival has also become a stage for concerts
Meanwhile, several concerts have been held as part of the festival, and more will take place during the final two days.
The artists and groups who have already performed on stage, as well as those scheduled to perform, include:
Şahê Bado, Neslihan Ediş, Serhado, Ruken Yılmaz, Mehmet Etli, the Agirî Jiyan Group, Delîl Dîlanar, the Dîwanî Dengbêjan ensemble (Halide, Evîn Sindî, and Muhammedî Serhedî), the Rengîn Group, Cevdet Bağca, the Agirî Zerdeşt Group, Eylül Nazlıyer, Murad Demir, Sîya Şevê, Servet Kökakaya, Ayfer Düztaş, Bajêr, the Erbane Group Kasedjîn, the Arjîn Women’s Dance Group, Mizgîn Turan, Tara Mamedova, Serdar Canan, Kamkaran, İlkay Akkaya, and the Amed Group.
All of these activities are taking place along the shores of Lake Van in Tatvan, and the festival programme also includes film screenings.
