Kurdistan Diaspora Confederation to Host a Special Gathering and Dinner for Kurdish Women in Amsterdam

With the aim of strengthening friendship and fostering closer ties between women and the federation, the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation in the Netherlands is scheduled to host a special gathering entitled “Kurdish Women’s Gathering”, along with a community dinner, on 11 October in Amsterdam. The event will bring together Kurdish women residing in the city.

According to the official invitation issued by the Kurdistan Diaspora Confederation in the Netherlands, all Kurdish women living in Amsterdam have been invited to attend an enjoyable dinner in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The gathering aims to provide an opportunity for women to come together, exchange ideas and strengthen unity within the Kurdish diaspora community.

The event organisers emphasise that this gathering is intended to be more than just a simple dinner. Its purpose is to establish lasting and meaningful connections between Kurdish women and the Confederation, ensuring that the organisation continues to serve as a shared home and a genuine source of support for their talents and abilities.

At the same time, the participation of Kurdish women in this gathering is seen as a living symbol of solidarity and the preservation of national identity. The Kurdish diaspora community can truly grow and make its voice heard when women are empowered and take leading roles within it.

Throughout history, Kurdish women have always been a backbone in preserving the Kurdish language and culture and sustaining the spirit of resistance. Abroad, they continue to carry this message forward and pass their cultural heritage on to future generations.

Today, thousands of kilometres away from their homeland, the Kurdistan Diaspora Confederation is intensifying its efforts across European countries to strengthen ties among fellow Kurds through social and cultural activities of this kind. These initiatives aim to help Kurdish communities maintain their national identity and cultural heritage while integrating into European society.
