URGENT CALL TO ACTION: SAVE WRISHE MORADI AND PAKHSHAN AZIZI

The Kurdish community stands united in solidarity with Wrishe Moradi and Pakhshan Azizi, two
courageous Kurdish women activists who have been sentenced to execution by the Islamic
regime of Iran.
Wrishe Moradi and Pakhshan Azizi were arrested last year for their advocacy of women’s rights
and Kurdish freedom. These unjust execution sentences are intended to suppress dissent and
intimidate the Kurdish community into silence.
We unequivocally condemn the actions of the Iranian regime against the Kurdish people and
demand the following:
– The immediate cancellation of the execution sentences for Wrishe Moradi and Pakhshan Azizi.
– The unconditional release of Wrishe Moradi and Pakhshan Azizi.
– An end to the Islamic regime’s repression of Kurdish activists and women’s rights advocates.
The Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation calls on the international community, human rights
organizations, and all those committed to justice to take urgent action to save Wrishe Moradi
and Pakhshan Azizi.
