The General Supervisor of the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation (KDC), contacted Kurdish champion Agit Kabayel to express his personal support, as well as the support of the Barzani Headquarters. In return, the champion thanked them for their consistent support of Kurdish youth in the diaspora.
On Sunday, Mr. Shifa Barzani, the General Supervisor of the KDC at the Barzani Headquarters, extended his warm congratulations via a telephone call to Agit Kabayel, famously known as “Kurdish Power”. This call followed Kabayel’s historic achievement of securing the WBC World Heavyweight Boxing Championship.
During the call, Shifa Barzani expressed his joy and wished the champion continued success and even greater milestones, stating: “Today, you have become the pride of 83 million Germans and 60 million Kurds across the globe.”
Additionally, the General Supervisor of the KDC reaffirmed his full support for Agit Kabayel and all successful Kurdish figures and youth in the diaspora.
He emphasized that such monumental victories are not merely personal achievements; rather, they serve as a source of morale and strength for Kurdish youth, keeping the name of Kurdistan held high in international arenas.
In response, world champion Agit Kabayel expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Shifa Barzani and the Barzani Headquarters for their attention and continuous support of Kurdish youth and adolescents in the diaspora.
