Kurdish Academics Named Among the World’s Top Scientists

Eight academics from universities in the Kurdistan Region have been included in the list of the world’s top 2% of scientists, a ranking compiled based on data from Scopus and Elsevier.

Four academics from Erbil Polytechnic University, two from Salahaddin University-Erbil, and two from Garmian University have achieved this recognition.

The ranking is compiled based on scientific research performance, the number of citations, and the H-index. This achievement is regarded as a significant scientific success for universities in the Kurdistan Region.
